Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) | The VMI concept combines the vendor’s/manufacturer’s duties with classical distribution tasks with the aim of relieving our customers from inventory management. Henskes basic requirement is an agreement on the type, amount and the procurement period of your components and parts. We only require regular reports via email or EDI on your manufacturing throughput and Henske will then, independently, adjust the supply chain and the precise control of the inventory.
Consignment warehouse | Is your material requirement subject to sharp fluctuations and difficult to plan? The tendency to "self store" can have hidden risks and binds liquidity. One of Henskes consignment warehouses in your immediate vicinity may be the solution to this problem. You will have constant access to the commodities, which will remain our property until withdrawal. Only actually used stockage will be calculated and billed monthly.
Security stocks | Disruptions in the supply chain are often more the rule than the exception. In a crisis, time is literally money. If delays result in dramatic consequences because contracts cannot be met on time, then the critical phase will have to be bridged. On request, we create "safety stocks" of selected products, which will be available and at your disposal at all times.
